The keam Run : final stage !

I know the word everyone doesn't actually imply anything.

Engineering seat allotment is about to be announced in kerala according to kee rank and options candidates have registered . So ,many of us are in big anxiety.
Hope everyone had chosen a stream in which you are more interested in . Don't listen to the talks of others especially your relatives.Parents may remain quiet, because they may be in a dilemma . But the remaining members (in the name of Relations) would spoil your interest & career .
So Please don't listen to them . Be strong & sure in what you want to do and which would suit more for your career and more of it :YOU !Go for your passion . But certain courses are research oriented and has less opportunities.Its a fact.
People may say ,if you take this particular stream , you will end up jobless. Etc. ,it may be sometimes correct. For example ,taking up courses leading to aviation industry is risky as the industry isn't stable for opportunities. But ,firstly you've got to be satisfied ,not someone else !
Like Aamir Khan says in 3 idiots ,Passion matters ! Always and every time. !

I had come across a news in matrubhumi yesterday regarding seat allotment process ,that government is favoring private self-financing colleges in allotment process. Apart from last years, there are only 2 allotments this time ,if any govt. merit seat remain unoccupied after allotment ,the management of that college has the right to make it management seat ,if the allotted candidate isn't making admission procedures to the allotted college ,they've got to pay fine .Now ,the people are protesting against it .
But ,may I ask why ?
Why these people are protesting ?
All the rules and regulations regarding the entire Kerala engineering and medical entrance thing is specified in the KEAM BIBLE :"the 128 paged keam prospectus" .
All these are also clearly mentioned during option registration as guidelines ,it's meaningless to protest now.
Self-financing colleges run on there own , according to present rules 50 % of their seats are to be filled by the government allocations .It's a fact that for many years ,many of these seats were remaining unfilled at many colleges throughout Kerala. It means a great loss to them . Many people simply gave random options at these colleges and later if they claim that they were not seeking admission there ,what do we call these people as ?

Last year thousands of engineering seats were remaining unoccupied in Kerala. When these facility is available in our own state ,I've seen many people going to some engineering colleges in very poor condition  at Tamil Nadu ,Karnataka etc.

Getting an engineering seat is not a big issue nowadays. There are lots of engineering colleges all around. There are around 150 engineering colleges in India including government colleges ,government controlled self-financing colleges,aided,private self financing colleges etc.
If you've money you could get one . I've seen many people spending lot of money in luxuries ,buying high end gadgets throughout years ,when they have got to spend something for education ,they don't have any . So awesome !

Wish everyone get the trade seeking at the college they want it !

 But , there too : you had to choose the stream first ,then the college.

Snakes ,my nightmare !

(The story on how fortunate I was not to get a snake bite)

Before going ahead ,let me ask you how many of you have fear towards certain animals ?
I don't know why , from childhood onwards I am frightened of snakes ,never in my life a snake has attacked me or did anything to me. In my childhood days , I always feared snakes .Both my mother's and father's home are in somewhat in a little rural area. My grandfathers had lot of fields and agricultural activities. From childhood onwards Iam hearing stories and expiriences on how they managed to get away from snakes . Later I came to know that one of my grand grand mother had died due to a snake bite. Those were the days when my nightmares were fully filled with snakes .

Coming to the matter , last month I was walking with one of my friend at palarivattom, we were having some casual talks and in between he suddenly said " look out !..there is a snake underneath your feet. ".

I didn't believe and kept walking.who would believe that there is a snake at the middle town ?
In the second ,I walked over something, something fleshy.
Ahhhhhhhh...what was it ? I didn't care to look on a thought that who would dare to look for a snake in the middle of city ?
     I walked 2-3 steps further , but certain things came up top my mine, I placed my legs on something fleshy.

If to say in a descriptive way..my brain processed it after sometime (that was for the scientific fellows.) So, what's the next ? "God almighty ,what the..was that? snake ? "
I turned back....and had a look...I was happy in one side that my assumption was absolutely correct. But on the other side, the human in me who has just completed 17 years and who wants to go more has just went over a highly poisonous animal...his nightmare animal..!
" Ehrrrrrrrr.......a goddamn snake..........my tongue came out ! What the...next...to do......
Death ,Judgment, Heaven/Hell .I came through all of these . !
It was shivering..(my hands too were then) ,I don't exactly remember what happened in the next seconds ........... another man came by walking said "ooh ..a cobra dying..." , wow ..it was alive when I stepped over it . "yes Jishnu ,you just escaped from a snake bite. what's next ? " I asked myself .
Run? Eyy...no no ! Then what ? It was shivering still , I cleared the place. After walking some distance and making sure that I was in a safe zone (anywhere without a snake was safe then) , I enquired about the snake later , actually somebody else had already beaten it up before I had stepped over it. I came to know that , it went into a shop nearby and the shopkeepers had beaten it up. So what I felt was not sympathy towards the dying snake , but I really got angry with the shopkeepers. I had just passed through one of the worst part of my life yet. What if it had given me a bite ? I must have died due to their incomplete personal safety making programme .Of course ,they had to mind only their own business ,but they could've made sure that it is dead . The half-dead snake would have injected it's venom in my body . 

So my dear readers ,what I want to say in this post is not about my temper nor about taking precautions  against snakes and other animals but about a little request to the public ,that includes you ,me and everyone .
These all may be common issues here ,but many people do not understand the seriousness of what they have done. People just beat up animals to kill it ,but people always forget one thing ,the animals will put up their maximum effort like any other living things for their survival ,the people will put up all their temper on the animal and will leave after their satisfaction. This attitude must not be promoted . If today it's me ,tommorow it's someone else .In my case , if they had made sure that the snake is dead ,I wouldn't have passed through such a dangerous situation . I am not talking about the irresponsibility of the people ,but of the little big negligence that may cost lives .It's a very dangerous issue ,that has to be noted with care .This is not only regarding snakes ,but also regarding other animals .However, it is also essential that you know what to do and what to expect in the event that you, someone you are with,is bitten by a snake – especially a venomous snake.
